The Job

NBA Digital -- the group that handles newsgathering, editing and publishing for NBA.com and the NBA apps -- is looking for a summer intern to work on the NBA Digital news desk. This intern will help with editing and publishing content during the NBA Playoffs and Finals, the NBA Drat and NBA Summer League.

The Daily
• Edit and publish stories from the field
• Place stories on NBA.com homepage and the NBA app homescreen
• Edit photos for photo galleries
• Send push alerts and NBA Ticker updates
• Learn the Ins and Outs of video editing and publishing in the NBAD multimedia department

The Essentials
• Solid command of the English language
• Ability to write and edit written news stories
• Strong knowledge of the NBA, its players, teams and traditions
• Ability to thrive in a 24/7 team environment

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
