Summer MBA Intern - Consumer Products

Job Description

Our Team stands out by developing data-driven insights, executing creative business development initiatives, and tracking campaign success to drive fandom and engagement across Warner Brother's library of iconic franchises. In this role, you'll dive into key projects and work with local teams worldwide to support our brand's growth and strategic goals.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Assist in analyzing market trends and consumer purchase behavior to identify growth opportunities for iconic Warner Bros. franchises
• Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to execute localized strategies and track their effectiveness
• Assist in developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track success of Warner Brothers Global Consumer Products campaigns
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to enhance global brand positioning including emerging technologies and Key Territory entertainment trends
• Identify and external vendors and help streamline internal processes to improve WBD's efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex data sets, strong modelling and valuation experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and presentations, ability to balance multiple concurrent projects with various stakeholders across WBD
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Significant presentation design/creation (PowerPoint, Miro, etc.), Database visualization software (Tableau, AirTable, Stackline, etc.)
• Nice to Haves: Experience in Business Development and/or Strategy Creation, An understanding of the Licensed Consumer Products industry with a familiarity with e-commerce, & Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media analytics
• Must be actively enrolled in a US-accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a 1st year MBA student
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)
• All 2025 MBA interns will be selected from the attendees of the in-person (held in Burbank, CA) OR Virtual MBA Trek. All eligible applicants must attend the trek.
• Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.

• The duration of the program is 10-12 weeks depending on the student's availability

Program dates
• Option #1: 6/2/2025- 8/15/2025
• Option #2: 6/9/2025- 8/22/2025
• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
• The recruiting process will take place from November through February. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $45 per hour USD for MBA Interns.
