Summer Intern - Gre Facilities Management

Job Description

This internship will be located in the NYC area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule. The Facilities Management team (NY) oversees five New York sites, including our headquarters, production, live broadcast, and retail spaces, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for employees, guests, and all onsite. In this role, you will assist with maintaining production facilities, supporting event planning and execution, and ensuring the smooth operation of dining services.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Support planning and execution for events onsite, assisting with logistics, vendor coordination, post-event analysis.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives at site, such as zero waste, analysis and improve recycling program.
• Assist with a design and implementation of onsite surveys to employees to assess their satisfaction with workplace environment, events and dining services at each site.
• Assist in creating a digital inventory tracking system for all facilities and event onsite storage rooms, ensuring accurate tracking of supplies and equipment to improve organization and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to write and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facilities management tasks, event planning, and dining services.
• Responsible for assisting in the documentation and standardization of operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
• Knowledge on Facilities Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be actively enrolled in a n accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.

What to know before applying:
• The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end
option is 11 weeks .
• Program date options:
Option 1: June 2 nd – August 15 th
Option 2: June 9 th – August 22 nd
• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
• Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns.
