Job Description

We have multiple TV & Film Development and Programming internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the LA area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager ' s in office schedule.

This could include, but is not limited to:
• Current Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025
• Creative Affairs Intern: LA - Spring 2025
• MAX Drama Originals Development & Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025
• HBO Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025
• Warner Bros. Pictures Development Intern: LA - Spring 2025

Your Role Accountabilities

Duties could include:
• Shadowing different programming executives each week and their shows. Desk Temping for Assistants - shadowing real experience for jobs out of college and performing any tasks needed by the covering assistants.
• Helping update grids, databases, and covering sheets. Having weekly check in's with their manager, going over the past week.
• The Intern will have exposure to Production, Post-Production, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, and Public Relations on an ad hoc basis.
• Previous interns have sat in on meetings, worked on various projects, attended professional development workshops/classes, as well as assisted with basic day-to-day administrative needs (including, but not limited to, basic data entry, copying, etc., and other duties as need and as required).
• By the end of the internship, the Intern will have had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all aspects of television and gain a broader understanding of the Industry within a very busy television network.
• Conduct script coverage, draft comparisons and summaries and research market and trends

Qualifications & Experience

Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
• Passion for TV, media, and entertainment with an interest in creative production/development/programming.
• Must be a self-starter and strong teammate who can work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be highly organized and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Must be actively enrolled in a n accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA). A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
• Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner B ros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.

What to know before applying:
• The duration of the program is 1 2 weeks
• Program dates:
• Start Date: January 2 7 th
• End Date: April 1 8 th
• Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided .
• Interviewing will take place from
October through December . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns.
