The Digital Production Intern will support the day-to-day activities of the YouTube Digital team, the intern's responsibilities will range from hands-on digital production duties to general management activities in our channels. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop the skills in a Digital Production environment, from ideation to delivery of YouTube assets. You will play a key role in editing videos for our portfolio of Kids brands with focus but not limited to existing in-house assets.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Fulfil the weekly make list for our YouTube channels contemplating editing of clips, compilations, producing thumbnails and writing metadata
• Make sure assets are delivered on time with company quality standards, appropriately reviewed and in accordance with internal guidelines
• Keep streamline communication with YouTube team to ensure optimal collaboration
• Improve editing skills using Adobe Premiere, design skills using Adobe Photoshop and copywriting skills for YouTube and social media with focus on SEO
• Know what is current and exciting in the YouTube space to bring new and fresh ideas that can contribute to growth and other business objectives
You will learn...
• Overview of Digital Production Process (Terminology, Key Steps, Types of assets, Analytics, Production tools, YouTube CMS)
• Creation of videos, thumbnails and metadata for our YouTube channels.
• How to use YouTube CMS to publish content and report performance.
• What consumers (kids) really want.
• Overall interactions between Digital, Marketing and Programming teams in a media environment.
Qualifications & Experience...
• You must be a current University student and in your 2nd year of university, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
• An interest in YouTube and video editing
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Be self-motivated, have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Willing to learn new skills and interested in working in a team environment
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external parties
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience producing and/or managing content on YouTube would be beneficial
The Internship…
• Salary: £24,000 p/a
• Contract Length: 12 months
• Start Date: 30th June 2025

• Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th November (you will not be able to apply after this date).
• Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th November.
• Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in December & January.
• Stage 4: Interviews will take place January.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
