Job Description
Intern, Content Strategy & Analysis - Max (Summer 2025)

Interested applicants must be able to commit for a minimum of 3 months full-time, starting from May/June 2025. Applicants must also be enrolled at a University/Polytechnic during the internship period and have the right to work in Singapore.

The Job​

As part of Content Strategy & Analysis, you will be joining the team responsible for developing and implementing content strategy across WBD's global streaming portfolio, evaluating content performance and trends, and providing insights and recommendations to leadership to influence decision making. This role requires a high level of collaboration with partners across WBD – the right person for this role is the kind of person who obsesses over details, thrives in ambiguity, and jumps at the opportunity to take on new challenges. The intern will play a key role in supporting relationships across teams and delivering high quality work in one of the highest priority business initiatives at Warner Bros Discovery.

Candidates should be able to commit full-time for 12 weeks in our Singapore office.



The Daily

Some of your tasks may include:​
• Help develop frameworks and analyses for assessing key strategic questions facing the business, including such areas as:
• Evaluating how much and what type of content to invest in
• Identifying content performance indicators and trends
• Assessing title and portfolio level performance
• Help develop and implement benchmarking systems and processes to support analyses and recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Data & Analytics, Finance, Research, and Business Intelligence, to build the tools and processes necessary to drive strategy and analysis initiatives
• Support Content and other Streaming teams in understanding current performance on the platform, connecting content insights to business opportunity
• Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, board presentations, and other leadership meetings or ad-hoc projects as required

The Essentials ​
• Studying towards a bachelor or master degree with specializations in Business, Finance, Strategy, Maths/Statistics or related disciplines
• Be able to commit for 12 weeks full-time from May or June 2025
• Graduating by Summer 2026 or Summer 2027
• Passion for entertainment, love for content and avid viewer, as well as staying on top of industry trends with relentless curiosity on how to create and improve consumer value
• Familiarity with Microsoft (including Excel, PowerPoint) suite of collaboration software
• Be an effective communicator working with both internal and external stakeholders, including being comfortable presenting in small to mid-sized groups with senior leaders
• Be organized, detail oriented and an independent team player who can prioritize tasks and deadlines
• Possess excellent analytical skills and financial modelling capabilities, with a deep attention to detail
• Able to synthesize the output from analyses, identify the ''so-what,'' develop early hypotheses, and propose the next line of inquiry
• Be curious, focused on generating results, and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Collaborative and able to take and defend data- and analysis-backed positions in discussions

The Nice-to-Haves​
• Prior internships or project experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, and/or Corporate Strategy -- particularly in the media and entertainment and / or direct-to-consumer space
• Pan-regional knowledge of the media and entertainment ecosystem, including markets like Japan, Korea and Australia
