Job Description
Universal Music Group 2025 Summer Internship Program: UMLE/UMLA (Onsite: FL/CA)Program Eligibility:
• Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
• Graduating between Spring 2025 - Fall 2027
• Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing accommodations)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
• Commit to 20 - 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)

Commercial / Digital: Data & Analytics (Onsite: FL)
The Data analytics department at UMLE aims to support all commercial efforts with valuable information for decision making purposes such as trend reports, competitive analysis and a full understanding of the environment on complex sets for big data processing for the label.
How You'll Create:
Special projects to enhance current dashboards.
Support with multi varied analysis in accordance to the team needs.
Weekly consumption reports.
Collecting, cleaning and design of useful dashboards for the team.
Documentation and maintenance of current reports.
Collaboration with all departments within the organization as needed.
Professional presentations in cases where it's needed by the team.
Bring Your Vibe:
• Knowledge on SQL for data analysis.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Programming language such as : Python, c++.

Ecommerce (Onsite: FL)
E-commerce department oversees all the design, development, sales and marketing of artist physical products through D2C channels. We run all aspects of artist stores to offer fans the best product and experience.
How You'll Create:
-Sample Management and shipment
-Product set up sheets
-Update marketing calendars, merchandise directory and other department records
-Linkfire docs - resizing images, preparing links, etc.
-Market research on artist merchandising and marketing
Bring Your Vibe:
-Fluent in
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Moderate use of excel
-Some interest and knowledge in the Latin music space
-Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time and prioritize appropriately
-Experience with photoshop preferred but not required
A&R (onsite: FL)
How You'll Create:
-Complete various tasks for the A&R admin team to include tracking song status for delivery for certain projects, transcribing and reviewing lyrics, reviewing clean audio
-Assist Video Department.
-Assist and participate in coordination of record production. Help with recommending new mixing and mastering engineers, studio managers.
-Book Studio Sessions for A&R team.
-Assist with all other day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure artist projects are complete and submitted on time (Help A&R Team)
-Assist with scouting for new producers and local talent in the Miami area.
-Assist with setting up recording & songwriting sessions for local artists.
-Give feedback on demos/songs.
-Assist with some artist management tasks (e.g. going down to artist's performances, shoots, etc.…)

Commercial Partnerships/Fonovisa (Onsite: CA)
Responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic collaborations with DSPs to achieve mutual commercial benefits. Essentially acting as a bridge between the company and its external partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
How You'll Create:
-Maintaining our release schedule
-Creation and implementation of catalog strategies
-Inputting release info on various pitching tools
-Content creation ideas
-Search of new trends
-Tracking process of priority releases

-Ability to adjust to changes in the workplace
-Ability to manage time effectively to improve productivity and performance
-Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, premiere)
