JOB SUMMARY: The Player & Family Services Intern is a part-time, paid internship that extends through the entire 2025 Texas Rangers' season into early October with the possibility for extension through end of February.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Aid with answering and appropriately responding to phone request and departmental inquiries.
• Manage all aspects of incoming players' fan mail received by the department in a timely manner. Including but not limited to opening, sorting, organizing, and distributing.
• Provide assistance with the assembly and distribution of items such as goody bags and fulfilling special requests.
• Assist with special projects, activities, and departmental duties, including but not limited to, game day activities (nights and weekends).
• Assist with fulfilling charitable donations as needed, to include organizing and mailing.
• All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Able and willing to work flexible hours - including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to comfortably lift 40 lbs.
• Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
