This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 29th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Worldwide Distribution FP&A Intern is a key member of the Worldwide Distribution FP&A team, primarily involved in consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts and ultimates. This role will drive value by creating and evolving planning models, data analyses, and global reporting along with optimizing processes across WWD.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Day-to-day support of the FP&A team across the different lines of business (Consolidation, MPG and TVP) with consolidation and analysis of the financial budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Aid in development of financial reports to help facilitate forecasts, month-end processes and other external deliverables.
• Assist with the ad hoc analyses and special projects
• Collaborate with global FP&A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes
• Ensure FP&A system is accurately updated. Maintain hierarchies and develop new reports as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions
• Familiarity with Excel and other Office 365 applications (SAP, Power BI, Tableau a plus)
• Excellent time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with high standards and attention to detail, along with an excellent work ethic
• Independent worker and able to manage multiple deliverables
• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Business, Finance, or Economics
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
