Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Facility Operations supports the studio lot and its population by maintaining the lot's buildings and infrastructure and providing office space and associated services (e.g., janitorial services) for lot occupants. The department also manages several off lot properties, both locally and globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist with data analysis and data cleanup projects.
• Analyze datasets across the department to derive meaningful insights.
• Create comprehensive reports and visualizations.
• Create & maintain documentation for new & existing functions, processes, and workflows.
• Gather functional requirements and writing user stories with business users
• Support project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers as they define, test & deploy functionality for existing & new systems.
• Interview department heads regarding their use of data and requirements for additional reports, etc.
• Enrich and validate multiple data sources to maintain data quality and support the production of new reports and dashboards
• Document the current flow of data, including data exchanged between systems.
• Perform data cleanup.
• Perform QA/QC on code and data
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency in Data Analysis and Reporting
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, Advanced Excel
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly and concisely and synthesize information and tell data stories
• Skilled at data visualization, creating impactful presentation & deliverables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong Organizational and Analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Understanding of data models (databases, relationships, primary keys, data quality)
• Aptitude for learning new programs and applications.
• Flexible, collaborative, quick learner with a strong proactive work ethic
• Self starter with passion, energy, enthusiasm, curiosity and a growth mindset
The anticipated base salary for this position is $29/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
