Job Description
Availability and Attendance Requirement:

SPE's Hong Kong office is currently looking for a university student who can work as a full-time intern and fulfil the 6 months internship continuously.

The Role:

The Transactional Distribution Intern will support our Transactional Distribution business across SEA and India at Sony Pictures Television (SPT). This position is b ased in Hong Kong and will report to the Senior Manager, Transactional Distribution - South East Asia.

Responsibilities Include
• Track and ensure all titles are live on clients' platforms with the correct local title name, price, metadata and artwork.
• Capture new release titles and promote titles' placement and live status with the correct price.
• Compile promotion results and analyze performance.
• Track competitor titles' release dates and pricing on clients' platforms.
• Create and compile lists of titles for relevant drafting promotions tailored to each client.
• Research new release titles' metadata to compile generic go-to-market decks.
• Additionally, the intern will help the SEA sales team with:
- Researching local title performance
- Compiling market updates, box office data
- Coordinate events and schedule meetings
- Support ad-hoc research and other projects.

Training and Learnings you will obtain from this internship:
• You will get an overview of the distribution business and each vertical, with a particular focus on TVOD (windowing, pricing, clients, etc.).
• You will participate in meetings with research, sales planning, marketing, and sales.
• You will learn about the media industry and how content distribution works.
• You will learn about Southeast Asia media market (who are the key players, what content sells, etc.).
• You will learn how to work in a corporate environment.

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for the internship you will be;
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including the ability to prepare dynamic PowerPoint presentations.
• Study in relevant disciplines of marketing, advertising, business, communication, or another related field.
• Pro-active organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a team-player attitude.
• Keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
