We seek motivated and passionate interns to join our Sony Pictures Imageworks Internship Program, an outstanding opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a professional production environment. Open to all disciplines, this program offers exposure to a wide range of departments and the chance to contribute to real projects under the mentorship of industry experts.

What You'll Do:
As an intern, you will:
• Collaborate with talented teams on real-world projects.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and hands-on activities tailored to your area of interest (e.g., Layout, Modeling, Rigging, Animation, CFX, FX, Lighting, and Compositing).
• Attend regular mentorship sessions and networking events.
• Gain insights into the creative and technical processes behind feature VFX & animated films
• Receive feedback from seasoned professionals to help refine your skills and develop your portfolio.
Key Disciplines & Opportunities Include:
• 3D Animation: Work on character animation, rigging, and motion studies.
• Visual Effects: Explore dynamics, particle simulations, compositing, or digital matte painting.
• Modeling and Texturing: Build 3D assets and apply detailed textures for seamless integration.
• Lighting and Rendering: Learn advanced techniques to create stunning imagery.
What We're Looking For:
• Recent graduation from a college/university or equivalent training program.
• A strong passion for animation and visual effects
• Demonstrated interest in problem-solving, collaboration, and learning new skills.
• Portfolio Requirements: Depending on your discipline, please include a demo reel, with project breakdowns showcasing your work in the case of group projects.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $17.40/hr. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
