Job Description
Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Fall Internship is from September through December 13th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
Our Team:

We are Sony Pictures Television's (SPT) core team focused on strategy, business development, and operational excellence. The team works closely with SPT's diverse lines of business and other corporate functions to build growth strategies, design financial/operating models, and implement change management plans. The team drives change through strategic recommendations with thoughtful research and analysis, business model design, process engineering, and program management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Use effective data visualization, research, and analysis to assist the team's strategic recommendations
• Complete 1-2 internship-length business strategy projects from inception to completion
• Support Business Strategy & Operations colleagues with additional initiatives as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Highly curious – willing to look beyond the surface level to identify the key questions & hypotheses needed to solve problems and develop recommendations
• Creative & critical thinker
• Strong background in data (collection, cleaning, & analysis) and Excel modeling
• Excellent PowerPoint skills – able to design and own PowerPoint decks independently
• Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex ideas and analyses succinctly and persuasively to influence C-level executives
• At least 3-4 years of pre-MBA experience - ideally a combination of corporate strategy, management consulting and/or investment banking is preferred

The anticipated base salary for this position is $32-37/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
