Overview

The Big Red Program is a unique summer internship program dedicated to exploring a wide range of digital and strategic initiatives while also providing students with the opportunity to learn about all aspects of a major record label. It is structured as a paid internship, where students will get the opportunity to learn about all facets of a record label, while also getting to work directly on an artist project. We are looking for creative, dedicated, and inquisitive students who demonstrate a passion and commitment to music and a strong desire to help shape the future of the music business.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive mix of skill sets including strong written and verbal skills, solid digital and social media experience, online marketing/publicity experience, and business strategy experience.
• Prior music industry internship experience
• Experience working in Keynote and/or PowerPoint

Qualifications

In order to participate in our paid internship program, you must:
• Be enrolled in a matriculated program, in pursuit of an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution and provide documentation of your degree progress.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
• Be at least in sophomore class standing or above.
• Must be able to work out of the Columbia Records offices in New York City from the middle of June through early August
