Job Description

NBC Montana/nbcmontana.com is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated student who's looking to get the most out of their fall internship experience. This position is an unpaid internship and will be in our news department. You must be eligible to receive college credit to participate in this internship and be at least 18 years of age. Credit Verification forms will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity and offers you a chance to gain experience working closely with our news team and other members in our content center, including the digital team, anchors/reporters, and producers.

During the Internship, you will learn:
• Photojournalism
• Editing
• Producing
• Production

Requirements:
• Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, media, or related major
• Candidate must be a rising Junior or Senior in college and receive college credit for your internship.
• Graduate students are eligible
• Intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week; including some weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
• Must have reliable transportation
