Job Title : HR Intern
Department : Human Resources

Reports to: People and Culture Manager

Duration: 3 Months

Location : Los Angeles(On-site)
Compensation : $17.50(Hourly Wage And Credits Provided)

Position Overview

The HR Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, assisting in various HR functions related to recruitment, performance management, and talent development. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about HR processes in a creative, fast-moving industry and contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment & Onboarding
• Assist with posting job openings on job boards and internal platforms.
• Coordinate pre-employment screenings and assist with reference checks.
• Help organize and prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
• Welcome new hires and ensure they have a smooth onboarding experience.
• Employee Records & Documentation
• Assist in maintaining employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, performance evaluations, and recognition awards.
• Training & Development
• Support the planning and execution of training sessions, workshops, and team-building events.
• Assist with compiling feedback from training programs and tracking employee progress.
• HR Administration
• Assist with scheduling HR meetings and employee check-ins.
• Help prepare reports on HR metrics (e.g., employee turnover, engagement).
• Maintain and organize the HR department's filing system (digital and physical).
• Employee Relations & Engagement
• Support employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, surveys, and events.
• Help with the development of internal communications to keep employees informed.
• General Support
• Provide administrative assistance to the HR team as required.
• Assist with various HR projects and tasks that may arise during the internship.
• Event Coordination
• Assist in organizing and coordinating HR-related events, including company parties, team-building activities, and wellness programs.
• Help source venues, send out invitations, and ensure all logistics are taken care of for events.
• Order and manage catering for events, including working with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of food.
• Coordinate event materials such as decorations, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring the event aligns with the company culture.
• Support the planning and execution of employee celebrations, holiday parties, and other team-oriented events.

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and HR software is a plus.
• Familiarity with entertainment industry practices is a bonus.
• Must be able to report to the office Tuesday Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM PT.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with HR systems or talent management platforms.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Passion for the entertainment industry and understanding of the unique challenges it faces in HR management.
