Job Description
The Editorial & Brand Engagement team helps facilitate conversations with PBS audiences across platforms and our intern will help create content for PBS.org and social media channels in support of that goal.Time Commitment: 40 hrs./week, May 28, 2024 – August 23, 2024
Undergraduate students receive $15/hour, graduate students receive $17/hour
Key Responsibilities/Projects:
• Writing articles for PBS.org that curate streaming content that connects with current events and genre/topic-based marketing.
• Brainstorm and create social media content that ignites audience emotions and connections to the PBS brand.
• Support ongoing multi-platform campaigns that engage audiences around our library of streaming content.
Skill Intern Will Acquire:
• Learn how to apply PBS' brand and voice guidelines in multi-platform content.
• Explore how multi-platform marketing campaigns go from idea to execution to measurement.
• Opportunity to learn how a storied and trusted brand
operates across social media channels and digital platforms.
Skills Required
• Be able to research and write knowledgeably for audiences on multiple web and social platforms.
• Knowledge of PBS' streaming services. Media experience is a plus.
• Understanding of marketing platforms, marketing campaigns, and audience engagement.
