Job Description
The Fundraising Strategy team oversees fundraising tactics and initiatives that help ensure PBS Station sustainability. Through immersion with the Fundraising Strategy team, gain unique understanding of PBS and the ways PBS stations fundraise and build donor relations.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with on-air and general membership fundraising assets and resources related to PBS programming and content
• Assist with fundraising drive information and asset creation as well as fundraising research projects
• Assist with the coordination, planning and execution of virtual trainings and webinars
• Where needed, assist with Digital Fundraising initiatives
Skills Intern Will Acquire
• Strong writing skills

• Microsoft Office
Requirements for success:
• Increased knowledge of public media and affiliate communications
• Learn about non-profit fundraising and media sales
• Develop base level knowledge of media & consumer research
• Develop virtual training planning & execution skills
• Effective promotional outreach and communication for membership organization
• Professional development and networking experience
Additional Information:
Time Commitment: May 27, 2025 – August 15, 2025
Compensation: Undergraduate students receive $15/hour, graduate students receive $17/hour
