Job Description
Internships are available for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees. Several departments may choose to accept interns, including but not necessarily limited to: News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development.Internship Details:
• Each internship is for 16 hours per week for 15 weeks
• Will be well supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experience
• Upon completion of the internship, the student will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisor
Requirements & Skills:
• Must be senior in their last year of concentrated study
• Be of advanced skill level due to complexity of projects
• Expected to work two eight hour shifts per week
• A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn
• Previous internship experience a plus
Our award winning Creative Services Department is looking for a Digital Production Intern. If you are a digital minded story teller that likes to produce for web and Social Media, we'd like to hear from you. You should be familiar with production (cameras, editing, sound both web and TV) but also familiar with WordPress. If you have a blog and/or a YouTube channel we'd love to hear from you. In this internship you will assist with all aspects of our interactive dept including our award-winning weekend show; Weekend Philler. You will get the chance to see things you've worked on, or helped work on, on TV, the Web and on Social– and you'll learn the steps we take to file, tag, optimize and construct that content so that it reaches a maximum audience.
