Job Description

Research stories and segments
• Pitch broadcast/digital stories
• Assist in writing packages and writing/posting online pieces
• Maintain up-to-date social media content
• Assist with field shoots including helping with gear
• Assist with teleprompter during live broadcasts
• Work alongside editorial and sales departments to meet client's needs
• Aid in greeting and bringing guests to and from set
• Conduct pre-interviews and fact-check information
• Perform other duties, as directed by management
• Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, journalism, or related major
• Intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must receive academic credit for the internship experience
• Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
• Must have reliable transportation
• This is an unpaid internship; credit verification forms will be provided
