Job Description
NewsNation/ T Howard Foundation Digital News Internship Fall 2024 (Chicago)

The primary role of the NewsNation Digital News Intern is to support the network's digital team in ensuring that the network's digital platforms are updated with stories and content which educates, engages, and entertains the audience. The digital news intern will work under the direct supervision of digital producers and collaborate with the larger news team to create and curate content across television and digital to best serve the growing audience of NewsNation.

This internship is offered by NewsNation/Nexstar Media Group in partnership with The T. Howard Foundation. The paid internships will run from approximately September 3, 2024 – December 6, 2024 (13 weeks)

Requirements

Must be pursuing an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US without a Visa or sponsorship

The ability to work at NewsNation's Chicago office

Must have proficient writing skills

Must have experience with video editing for social media
