The Job

The New Line Productions, Operations team is looking for a Summer intern to assist the department.

The Daily
• When requested, reads written materials (scripts, books, etc.) and provides feedback to executives
• Updates lists of available writers, directors and actors for projects in development
• Provides publicity and marketing research for projects awaiting release
• Provides research and strategic analysis for projects under consideration and in development
• Assists with production-related tasks
• Files and organizes legal paperwork
• Performs administrative duties as assigned
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

The Essentials
• PC skills required
• Knowledge of film and film industry a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and members of the creative community
• Ability to research and coordinate various projects, and identify resources
• Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage
• Knowledge of report, letter, etc. format

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program
