We're looking for an exceptional Intern to guide Netflix workflows from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding and improving business operations across diverse workstreams. They are highly curious, detail-oriented, data-driven, and a strong communicator who responds well in a fast-paced environment.

Who are you?
• Data-informed approach to problem-solving and analysis with experience pulling and visualizing large datasets from complex underlying data structures.
• A deep-rooted passion for creating order out of chaos, quickly identifying trends, organizing data, and creating streamlined processes to allow for operating at scale.
• Able to consider multiple perspectives and priorities when proposing solutions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to distill necessary information to cross-functional partners and drive adoption of new workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Current Masters student, studying Business, Computer Science, or similar. Graduating December 2022 or May/June 2023.
• Airtable familiarity and SQL experience preferred.

What will you learn?
• Help to lay the foundational infrastructure for which vendor externalization will grow at scale.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of the cross-section of workflows and tasks between the different teams within Netflix.
• Analyze a large set of data sources with different internal and external stakeholders and help to drive a standardized approach towards externalization.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by contributing to conceptual brainstorming sessions within Partner Operations and with Cross-Functional Partners including, but not limited to, members of the broader Partner & Product Operations team (Scale Ops, Innovation Ops, etc.), internal business partner teams (Editorial Creative, Title Operations, Gaming, etc), Product Management, and external vendor partners to develop relationships outside of Partner Operations and gain more scope and context around the impact of the projects undertaken.
• Develop and execute projects intended to add value to current team priorities or reveal opportunities for future growth.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies of current workflows and propose alternative solutions.

The Summer Internship

At Netflix, we offer a personalized experience for interns, and our aim is to offer an experience that mimics what it is like to actually work here. We match qualified interns with projects and groups based on interests and skill sets, and fully embed interns within those groups for the summer. Netflix is a unique place to work and we live by our values, so it's worth learning more about our culture.

Internships are paid and are a minimum of 12 weeks, with a choice of a few fixed start dates in May or June to accommodate varying school calendars. Conditions permitting, our 2022 summer internships will be located either remotely, in our Los Gatos, CA office, or in our Los Angeles, CA office, depending on the team.
