Responsibilities
Late Night with Seth Meyers is home to A-list celebrity guests, memorable comedy and topical monologue jokes. It is hosted by Emmy Award-winning writer and one of the 2014 TIME 100, Time magazine's 100 most influential people, Seth Meyers. Previously, Meyers served as head writer on ''Saturday Night Live'' and anchor on the show's wildly popular ''Weekend Update.'' An established comedian, Meyers is known for his perfectly timed wit and off-the-cuff satire. Meyers' fellow ''Saturday Night Live'' cast member and friend Fred Armisen serves as music director/drummer for the house band, The 8G Band with Fred Armisen.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Production: Interns will observe and assist department heads in all aspects of producing renowned late-night shows; including recording rehearsals, distributing run downs, audience support, other production-related projects as assigned, and fulfill runs and manage our show highlight reel/database.
• Guest Research: Interns will support guest research for upcoming episodes of The Tonight Show with Jimmy and Late Night with Seth Meyers with a focus on the latest trends in society and pop culture.
• Social Media (Remote): Interns will assist Social Media team in developing social editorial content plans for late night shows; opportunities to create GIFs and other social media content and participate in brainstorms and team meetings.
• Music: intern assists the music producers and the 8G House Band. Responsibilities include distributing schedules and rundowns, preparing daily set lists, assisting during on-set rehearsals, and completing runs.

Emmy Award- and Grammy Award-winning comedian Jimmy Fallon brings a high-tempo energy to the storied NBC franchise with his welcoming interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations and innovative sketches. For almost 60 years, ''The Tonight Show'' has been an American television institution home to big-name celebrity guests and top musical and comedic talent. Taking a cue from predecessors, including hosts Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, Fallon carries on the tradition audiences know and love. Known for his huge online presence, Fallon also brings along many popular segments, celeb sketches and musical parodies that fans have grown to love on ''Late Night,'' including Hashtags, Thank You Notes and Slow Jam the News. The critically praised Grammy-winning group The Roots serves as ''The Tonight Show'' house band.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Production: Interns will observe and assist department heads in all aspects of producing renowned late-night shows; including recording rehearsals, distributing run downs, audience support, other production-related projects as assigned
• Guest Research: Interns will support guest research for upcoming episodes of The Tonight Show with Jimmy and Late Night with Seth Meyers with a focus on the latest trends in society and pop culture.
• Social Media: Interns will assist Social Media team in developing social editorial content plans for late night shows; opportunities to create GIFs and other social media content and participate in brainstorms and team meetings.
• Music/Talent: Intern will work to update various music documents to gain a better understanding of iTunes chart movement, impact, and publicity for upcoming albums or tours. Daily Tasks for the music/talent department includes tracking other Late-Night show's musical performances, upcoming guests and upcoming movies/books/shows. Intern will assist the department with various runs for the department as needed for talent and guests.
• Writer's Research: Interns will get the chance to pitch news headlines, recap Late-Night shows, and will be ready to take on a project from the writing team.

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

Additional Job Requirements
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred
• Passion for television entertainment space
• Prior social marketing/content creation experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement
• Strong interest in and demonstrated knowledge of current affairs
