Responsibilities
Opportunities may include (but are not limited to):

Entertainment Finance: Exciting opportunity to work at the Entertainment Group, consisting of Bravo, E!, Oxygen, USA, Syfy, Universal Kids, NBC Entertainment & Syndication Studios. This role falls within the FP&A division of the newly formed Television & Streaming: Entertainment business unit. Intern will report into the Director of FP&A, and partner with TV & Streaming HQ, as well as with peers across other TV & Streaming businesses. Responsibilities include assisting in P&L, Balance Sheet and operational finance management. This role offers the unique opportunity to learn all areas of the business: Ad Sales, Programming, Digital, Marketing, etc.

The Universal Filmed Entertainment Group has finance internship opportunities available with: Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Global Finance, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment FP&A, and Universal Pictures Film Finance. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: improving accuracy and efficiency of monthly forecasting process, creating new financial models and trackers, day-to-day operations – financial consolidation, territory forecasting calls, submitting corporate financials, and assisting in regression refresh

The NBCUniversal Local Stations Finance Intern will have the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals supporting multiple programming and digital efforts across the NBCU Local portfolio. The selected intern will expand their technical skills and gain exposure in some of the following areas: FP&A functions, monthly closing processes, analyzing financial monthly and quarterly expenses, accounting practices in accordance with corporate policy, and data collection across 40+ NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations.

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics

Passion for media and entertainment

An affinity for numbers, data, and analysis

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including: vlookups, pivot tables, and financial modeling is a plus

Strong comfort level working with numbers and data with an ability to identify and analyze patterns and anomalies

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication

Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement
