To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
• Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
• Graduating from your undergraduate degree in Summer 2025
• Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 30th June 2025 – Friday 17th July 2026

What will I be doing?
Carnival Films is one of the UK's leading TV Drama production companies. As Production Intern you will be assisting the production team and learning about the process of bringing scripted drama from script to screen. You will provide valuable support to the production team including:
• Assisting the Carnival Production team with general production support.
• Preparation of production documents, lists, templates and trackers.
• Organising and attending production meetings for internal and external teams
• Supporting the team with production applications – Dropbox, Sharepoint, Scenechronize etc
• Archiving production paperwork and data upon completion of shoot and post.
• Assisting with management of media, drives and assets
• Such other tasks and day to day support to Production and other departments.
What will I learn from this opportunity?
A unique opportunity to learn what it's like to work in-house at a drama production company. Supporting the production and post-production teams to further learn about the end-to-end production processes in television drama.
Qualifications
What do I need to bring to the role?
• Lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills with a collaborative and professional attitude
• An ability to follow instructions and maintain excellent attention to detail when completing tasks.
• Proactive approach – don't be afraid to ask questions and volunteer yourself
• An understanding of the production process and stages of television drama.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
