Job Description

During your internship you will be exposed to and gain an understanding of everything in the colourful world of Human Resources ('HR') that ranges from HR Operations to fun Employee Engagement projects. You will partner very closely and support the HR Manager in maintaining quality HR services across the business.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

Wellness Programmes & Communications
• Plan & deliver meaningful activities to promote overall employee wellbeing, championing dynamic employee involvement
• Review and improve existing communication channels & mode
• Design & broadcast EDMs/artwork for internal Company/HR announcements
• Own & coordinate Staff Welfare matters, i.e. LSA, Marriage, New Born, Hospitalization & Bereavement
• Run HR-driven company events & projects such as Healthy Week/Month, DEI, CSR efforts etc.

Employee Lifecycle
• Overseeing end-to-end Onboarding, Offboarding and relevant HR documentation for new joiners & leavers, including but not limited to communications, activation of Sterling Backcheck & pre-employment medical check etc.
• Maintain & upkeep eFiles & pFiles
• Own & update corporate DLs timely
• Generate Employee Letters as needed/requested, i.e. Letter of Employment, Visa Applications, PR Applications etc.

Invoice & Billing Matters
• Vendor & PO creation
• Invoice processing
• Validating & processing 3rd party contractors' invoices
Other Ad-Hoc:
• Collaborate closely with HRM/HRC on HR Analytics efforts for data collection and analysis; for example: research, gather and translate HR industry data/trends and insights for application to the business
• Own and manage the monthly HR Events Calendar and initiate meetings to brainstorm and plan for upcoming events & projects
• Extend support to wider HR team, when required & directed by HRM/HRC

Qualifications

You are: -
• A resourceful and self-driven tech savvy individual with constant curiosity coupled with a pioneering and proactive attitude.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently and recognize what/when to escalate.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Natural flair for creativity and able to think out of the box.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with employees and peers across all levels in the business.
• Meticulous in all that you execute and have a very keen eye for detail.
• Basic understanding of local employment law and legislations and resourceful in accessing / researching data and information when required.
• Ability to practice strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite a must, exposure to other creative software/apps would be an advantage (E.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Movie Maker etc.)

Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from January to June 2025 for undergraduate students.
