Job Description
Overview:Reporting to the Sr. Director, Ticket Sales, the Ticket Sales Intern will provide general support for all Ticket Sales departments. The intern will also support in planning and execution for game day and non-gameday events for ticket plan holders, group, special events and theme nights programs.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.50/hr. This internship is slated to work 40 hours a week from April through October. Hours may vary week to week based on event schedule. This position is also eligible for sick time (after 90 days of employment) and 401k employee contributions after 3 months. Interns are also eligible for perks such as game tickets, early office closure pay, merchandise discounts and more.
Duties:
• Work alongside Ticket Sales Coordinators to provide customer service for a diverse customer base including Season Seat Holders, Suite Holders, Mini Plan Holders, and Group leaders.
• Assist in planning and executing gameday events including Little League parades, cheer, band and choir performances, College Games CIF recognition ceremonies, Season Seat Events, Premium Receptions etc.
• Aid in executing all group theme initiative including item pickup for any themed nights as well as any pregame ceremony/performances.
• Assist in planning and executing non-gameday events including prospecting events, season seat holder events, post-homestand follow up duties.
• Assist with opening, closing and staffing the Sales and Service HQ on game days for client engagement and customer service
• Conduct on site and in seat visits for key group customers, assist servicing large scale events from start to finish.
• Escort clientele during pre and in game experiences.
• Assist retrieving and sending videos/pictures of pregame and in-game amenities to clients.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred, past experience in fast-paced event environment a plus
• Strong organizational skills and punctuality required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Must be proficient in MS, Excel, Word, Power Point and the Internet
• Experience in Sales Force CRM and Pro Venue ticketing platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional business hours is required
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Frequently traverse to various locations around the stadium
• Continuously operate devices that are capable of completing essential job functions such as computers, phones and accompanying equipment
• May be subjected to extreme heat (over 90 degrees) when working outdoors i.e. performing work in an around the stadium.
• May be subjected to loud noises during stadium events.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
