THE POSITION – OPERATIONS INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 40 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist with event setup and booking, and on-site logistics as needed
• Coordinate with vendors, staff, and volunteers to ensure event execution aligns with plans.
• Support venue preparation, including seating arrangements, signage, and technical setup.
• Monitor event flow and help troubleshoot any operational issues in real time.
• Conduct pre-event and post-event checklists to ensure all elements are in place.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Document event operations and contribute to post-event reports and evaluations.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Learn the process of producing live music events
• Learn how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of, an accredited College or University.
• Recent college graduate or Junior or Senior standing
• Previous events or operations experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Passion for live events and operational logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift and move event equipment if required.
This program is during Summer 2025.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$17.28 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
