Job Description
THE POSITION – BOOKING INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects of live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a full-time position, up to 40 hours per week.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist booking department with administrative duties
• Support the booking team in all aspects of buying responsibilities including preparation and distribution of offer sheets, administrative support, talent research and prospecting.
• Research new, up, and coming artists, and distribute info to booking team.
• Assist the local and festival booking teams onsite.
• Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Learn the process of booking concerts.
• Learning how to prospect talent.
• Learn how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations.
• Learn about the many different roles responsible for booking and executing a show/festival.
• Learn how to obtain holds from venues and place and release holds in internal system
• Learn how to complete and distribute Show Confirmations and Event Status Sheets to internal staff, venues and partners
• Learn how to update and maintain offer templates, venue and artist info in Rome
• Learn how to research artist routings for potential local booking opportunities.
• Learn how to analyze ticket sales trends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Junior or Senior Standing
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.50 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
