Intern, Contract Compliance & Third Party Audit
Summary of Position
The Intern, Contract Compliance & Third Party Audit will receive exposure to compliance examinations of Lionsgate's contracts with outside parties as well as third party participation audits of Lionsgate's distribution of films and television series brought by producers, directors and talent. Lionsgate is an exciting, fast paced organization and the Contract Compliance & Third Party Audit department provides a unique opportunity to learn many aspects of the company – from production to initial film release and through all downstream channels of distribution such as Home Entertainment, TV and digital streaming (AVOD, SVOD, PVOD). In addition, through the audit process and settlement phase, there are opportunities to understand things such as the economic impact of the streaming landscape and how claims are settled.
Responsibilities
• Review agreements with producers, directors and talent for Pictures produced or acquired by Lionsgate for theatrical, television and all downstream channels of distribution.
• Prepare contract abstracts from agreements for Pictures under audit.
• Prepare back-up as requested by auditors for third-party audit.
• Review of customer and vendor agreements with respect to Pictures under audit.
• Compare, reconcile, and analyze the financial participation statements under audit by third party participants to the general ledger and other data sources.

Qualifications and Skills
• Currently enrolled in a university or college pursuing a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration degree preferred
• Organized and detail oriented
• Basic competency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Excel preferred

All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.
Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
