Summary of Position
The intern will work directly with the team on a variety of legal needs and to help create and develop guidelines for all social media platforms to ensure legal compliance with talent, guilds and corporate policies. Experience with social media and marketing is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
• Support drafting service agreements, statements of work, product placement and promotion agreements
• Reviewing and creating sweepstakes contests rules
• Exposure to obtaining clearances & licenses and talent approvals
• Providing risk assessment & content review
• Ad hoc projects as needed
Skills
• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school pursing a JD degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn

Program Dates: Tuesday, June 10th – Friday, August 15th, 2025 (10 Weeks)

The Lionsgate Summer 2025 Internship program dates are: June 10th - August 15th, 2025
All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.
Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Business Unit Overview
The Marketing B&L team at Lionsgate handles a variety of tasks primarily for the Global Marketing team and other divisions (IT, Home Entertainment, Procurement).
Our team handles full life cycle legal needs for marketing of motion pictures, television shows, fast channels, and other media. Additional areas include sweepstakes, product placements, promotional agreements, clip licensing, bonus content production.
Compensation
$21 per hour
