The Job:

As a HBO Max Fraud Intern, you will assist the Payments Fraud program of the DTC Fraud Management team. The Payments Fraud team is tasked with encouraging revenue growth, mitigating losses and protecting the consumer purchasing experience. Overall goal of the role is to support the optimization of the team's technologies, processes and workflows designed to improve the company's ability to prevent, detect and recover fraudulent transactions and chargebacks.

The Daily:

The Fraud intern would be responsible for providing support on the active payments fraud program pillars (e.g., Chargeback Management). Additionally there will be the opportunity to conduct industry research to identify areas of opportunity to grow the payments fraud space and produce value for the organization. Some of the daily tasks include:
• Assist the team in building out the overall payments fraud strategy and workflow, partnering with stakeholder teams such as Product, Engineering, Finance and Customer Support on key projects
• Participates in strategy/collaboration sessions and assists the program managers in the development/documentation of business cases and fraud project requirements
• Integrate into the 3rd party fraud and dispute vendor workstreams, support the program managers and Fraud Intelligence analytics team in analyzing data, monitoring for fraud trend and developing measurements Provide project management support to organize, update and enhance internal fraud requirements and projects

The Essentials:

Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, Criminology or other related fields

Preferred but not required experience working with software and tools on a day to day basis (Google Suite, Office, Web)

Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th; must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
