We Are…

We are ''Grande & Leonard'' the creative arm of ESPN Marketing, producing a variety of advertising pieces to promote a full range of sports properties, shows, products and services to our fans. We are responsible for designing, developing and delivering media for television, print, digital platforms, and more to meet the needs of our marketing teams and supporting all of our sports brands and external sponsors.

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life:

This role helps support the needs of our Creative Team, working closely with Writer/Producers and Designers. You'll have the opportunity to touch a range of projects by assisting with pulling footage, researching, writing scripts, and gaining post-production experience for TV, radio and social media tune-in based marketing campaigns. You'll also work hand-in-hand to help create a wide range of print and digital marketing materials, communicate with brand coordinators, receive feedback and design direction, and participate in open discussions about marketing campaigns.

Basic Qualifications:

What You Bring to the Role:
• Related education in TV Production or Design with an interest in Marketing
• Solid writing skills and knowledge of creative development for advertising and promotion
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A passion and knowledge of sports, both professional and collegiate
• Willingness to learn, share ideas, and collaborate with colleagues
• Solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• An interest in the creative side of sports marketing
• Knowledge and passion for the ESPN Brand
• Familiarity with music and pop culture trends for influence in the production of promotional materials
• Strong understanding of a variety of marketing mediums (TV, print, digital, social media, etc.)

Required Education
• Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship

Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Program Dates: The length of this internship is 10 weeks and the approximate dates are June 9 – August 14, 2020. Interns will work 40 hours per week and need to provide full availability throughout the internship.

Housing: This internship is located in New York, NY. Participants on this internship must provide their own housing.

Transportation: Must provide own transportation to/from work.
