TECHNICAL CHARACTER ANIMATION INTERN
What You'll Do
We are a new and growing team at Epic, aiming to build innovative new experiences and technology as part of our collaboration with Disney. As a Technical Character Art Intern, you will be joining a tightly-knit team of veterans from film and games to create pioneering real-time work and drive the quality bar within Epic and throughout the industry. In this role, you will
• Create, assemble, and maintain real-time characters in Unreal Engine
• Work with Unreal Engine's character creation and animation pipeline
• Collaborate with multiple teams from character artists, animators, and technical artists
What we're looking for
• Portfolio showcasing artistic and technical aptitude
• Knowledge of character workflow including modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation
• Experience integrating characters in Unreal Engine
• Skilled in 3D content creation programs like Maya, and Zbrush
• Highly motivated individual with a passion for problem-solving
• Basic blueprints and/or Python scripting is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
