Job Description

Epic Games Research and Development has internship positions available at our Research groups in Pittsburgh, Munich, Novi Sad, San Francisco, and Manchester. Candidates should be currently enrolled in a PhD program pursuing research in computer graphics, computer vision, machine learning, AI, or related disciplines. Experience demonstrated through publication in top-tier conferences is preferred.
Our research topics and projects span across these specific areas of interest:

Digital Humans
• Face and body capture
• Generative models and procedural animation
• Speech animation, Audio to Animation
• Style transfer and performance reenactment

Machine Learning / AI
• Optimizations targeting cross-platform real-time inference
• Reinforcement learning / imitation learning for autonomous agents
• Neural and Inverse rendering

Computer Vision
• 3D reconstruction and modeling
• Material reflectance capture and modeling
• Face and body detection and tracking
