PRODUCT DESIGN INTERN
What You'll Do
Fortnite's Player Expression team is responsible for equipping our players with an incredible diversity of looks and styles to show off their personalities and interests. You'll make your mark on gaming's biggest stage as you learn and grow with a team of brilliant and kind developers.
In this role, you will
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new game systems
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing systems
• Be a team player, learning with your peers and helping others as you go
• Build relationships with adjacent teams including art, performance, animation tech, and automation
• Write robust, maintainable code with extensibility in mind
What we're looking for
• Strong C++ programming skills
• A passion for games with a willingness to focus on visual but gameplay-adjacent areas
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude to dig into unfamiliar systems
• Excellent communication skills to work within a geographically distributed team and reach across team boundaries
• Unreal Engine development experience
This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
