About the DDM Summer Internship Program:

The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 9 week full time, paid program that runs from June 9th - August 8th, based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing) plus fun events throughout the summer!

Eligibility Requirements:
• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors and Seniors in Fall 2025 at an accredited college or university
• You must be available to work full time for the entire 9 weeks of the program in the NY office, 3 days a week
• You must have access to your own housing and transportation to/from the NY office

About the Team:
Our team supports the Beauty/Style and Media/Entertainment brands within the DDM portfolio. We create strategic advertising solutions for our brand partners that span from digital content, to experiential activations, to high impact media, and more. As a team, we champion collaboration, creative problem-solving, and positivity, with a strong culture of mentorship.

About the Role:

The Beauty/Style & Media/Entertainment intern will get hands-on Marketing experience and gain a basic understanding of digital media and, more specifically, what role Marketing plays in the digital media/DDM landscape.

Internship Responsibilities will Include:
• Assisting with basic tasks on Byrdie's biggest event of the year, Byrdie Beauty Lab and other brand tentpoles
• Creating a newsletter of social, digital trends that we can apply to our business
• Brainstorming new ideas across beauty/style & media/entertainment portfolio brands (InStyle, Byrdie, Shape, Brides, PEOPLE, Entertainment Weekly)
• Creating marketing materials that address sales needs used internally and externally

About You:

Candidates for this role should have:
• Organized individual with a positive attitude looking to contribute to a fast-paced team
• Self-starter who is willing to take a stab at any task no matter how big or small in order to positively contribute to our team goals
• Creative thinker who is excited and passionate about beauty, style, and culture
• Talented writer who can bring creative ideas and concepts to life easily
