About the Role & Program:
20th Century Studios is an Academy Award®-winning producer of feature films for both theatrical and streaming release. It is home to such iconic franchises as ''Avatar,'' ''Alien,'' ''Planet of the Apes,'' ''Predator,'' ''Die Hard,'' and ''Kingsman'' and creator of hit films including ''Bohemian Rhapsody,'' ''The Greatest Showman,'' ''The Martian,'' ''Ford v Ferrari,'' and ''Free Guy.'' We have an opening in our Live Action Production team in Physical Production for 20th Century Studios. This person will interact with several departments (Finance, Legal, Creative, Post Production, VFX, Marketing, Franchise, Emerging Technology, Animal Sciences, etc.) in order to gain a broad understanding of Feature Film Production from the Studio perspective.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2025 through December 2025.
What You Will Do:
• Assist Production Executives, Managers and Coordinators on roughly twenty films in various stages of Development, Prep, Production, and Postproduction
• Cover Executive desks and assist with scheduling and other admin responsibilities as needed
• Reading Scripts
• Distribute and track Below the Line contracts
• Work on various Research and Development projects including creating set lists, tracking crew availability per project, script comparisons, pulling images, inputting schedules into internal database, obtaining location packages from films commissions, etc.
• Maintain digital files and assets on department server and online database
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
• Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
• High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of film production and industry concepts and players, with an eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Prior internship experience in production field
Education:
• Senior year preferred
• Current student with a Film & Television Production major (or minor) with either some background in Film, Television, and/or Visual Effects
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Fully available from 5 days of the week, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
