About the Role & Program
20th Television Casting oversees the casting for many of the pilots and ongoing series on networks/platforms such as ABC, Hulu, FX, Disney+, Freeform, & Onyx Collective. The department falls under the umbrella of Walt Disney Television Studios (WDTV) Casting and work alongside the casting teams at WDTV to nurture & foster relationships with new and recurring talent for the studio.

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025. If selected for this role, you will report to the Executive Assistant, Casting. A cover letter indicating your interest in the 20th Television Casting Intern, Summer/Fall 2025 position is required.
What You Will Do
As an intern at 20th Television, you will support the Casting team with the day-to-day responsibilities of the busy studio/network casting department. You will have the opportunity to become member of a smart, fun, and collaborative team. You will also assist the department in finding up and coming talent. You will help find new and creative ways to work together with an eye toward quality and efficiency.
Some day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and updating show contact sheets and grids
• Update and maintain cast picture lists for specific shows
• Updating cast lists and organizing show binders
• Supporting current assistants with light desk and phone coverage, when needed
• General office and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with both Mac and PC operating systems
• Strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous casting experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with IMDB, Cast It, Zoom, are preferable
• Familiarity with using Airtable
Education
• Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025
• Fully available Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, California area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
