As a Market Research Apprentice within the Disney+ team at The Walt Disney Company, you'll be at the forefront of our Direct-to-Consumer video entertainment service across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The position is integral to the day-to-day operations of Disney+, focusing specifically on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, content programming, as well as research and analytics.
Your responsibilities will encompass supporting the business in developing a nuanced understanding of customer needs, behaviours, and attitudes. The primary goal is to discern how these factors contribute to building Disney+ brand affinity and influencing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Situated within the broader Analytics and Insights team, this role will involve close collaboration with various facets of the Disney+ business. As a forward-thinking and analytically minded individual, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our streaming service.

This opportunity is based in Disney's Hammersmith Office and will require you to be on-site four days per week.
Responsibilities
• Support the research manager to generate Disney+ insights across all key EMEA markets.
• Support with relevant quantitative tracking including drafting and scripting questionnaires.
• Support with qualitative research projects where required, including User Experience (UX) testing.
• Analyse large data outputs from regular and ad hoc research trackers and projects
• Utilising internal and external data sources to identify key themes and make business recommendations.
• Keep up to date with the Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) competitive environment and market intelligence reports.
• Work collaboratively with local market research teams within EMEA.
• Work closely with the global research team and represent the EMEA perspective.
• Collaborate with the product and platform teams to provide customer insights.
• Support the broader research team on any primary research.
• Creating compelling presentations for the broader Disney+ Team.
Eligibility
• Must have achieved or be on target to achieve two C's or above at A Levels (or equivalent qualification)
• Must have achieved 5 grades 4 - 9 at GCSE (C or above) including Maths and English
• Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
• Available to start the Apprenticeship in September 2024

This is an Apprenticeship, so we are looking for potential and we do not expect you to have all the skills and knowledge related to the role. We want to see your enthusiasm, eagerness to learn on the job and commitment to your apprenticeship studies. The ideal candidate will have:
