Job Description
For 100 years, The Walt Disney Studios has been the foundation on which The Walt Disney Company was built. Today it brings quality movies, episodic storytelling, and stage plays to consumers throughout the world. The Walt Disney Studios encompasses a collection of respected film studios, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and 20th Century Studios.

The Integrated Marketing team is the driving force behind the local marketing campaigns for content across both Studios and Disney+. Through strategic plans, creative ideas and collaborative partnerships across all media, the team brings awareness and recall of our brand and content to the forefront of audiences' minds.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in end-to-end campaign planning for Studios titles, with a unique and insider experience in the fast-paced entertainment industry of a legacy brand. The intern will support the Integrated Marketing team in various aspects of marketing and be crucial to delivering successful campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns.
• Attend agency briefing sessions and understand the workings behind agency-client relationship and be equipped with the skills necessary for future briefings.
• Assist in material and ad submissions where required prior to campaign launch.
• Assist with the preparation of presentation and reporting decks.
• Assist with the Marvel brand reignition project, supporting the release of 3 Marvel Studios' titles from Jan – Jun.

Studios Publicity
• Maintain and manage marketing and publicity assets, materials and information to trade and promotional partners.
• Update media partners and journalists with information of titles.
• Support for screenings, events and on-ground activations.
• Canvas and consolidate clippings of coverage from media partners and key opinion leaders post-event.
• Continuously refresh the list of key opinion leaders Studios engages with - fresh faces across Gen Z to millennials to families relevant to key audiences.

Promotional Collaborations
• Pitch, co-ordinate and assist with execution and logistics of promotions with exhibitors, media partners and brands.

Administrative & Logistics
• Manage administration of screenings and events including but not limited to booking of locations, invitations to guests, security deployment and registration.
• Manage premiums, posters and standees such as ordering, allocation, logistics arrangement (packing and arranging for delivery), follow-ups and inventory consolidation.
• Submit and process purchase requisitions, contracts and any other relevant compliance documentation.
• Play a support and coordination role in others administrative functions including but not limited to purchasing, billing, logistical, legal and inventory management.

Internship Requirements:
• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
• Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
• Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2025

Requirements:
• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
• Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel brands
• Enthusiasm for entertainment across content (short-form and long-form) and pop culture
• Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a passion for marketing (both offline and online) and communications
• Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
• Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
• Ability to pitch in with fresh and creative ideas for campaigns
• Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
• Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
• Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
