Job Description

THE JOB

Delirio is looking for motivated interns with strong communication skills, superb attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Interns will gain a hands-on understanding of the documentary filmmaking process by collaborating with team members working on all stages of production, from development to post-production. Typical tasks include:


  • Research for new documentaries;

  • Editing and logging footage for post-production;

  • Assisting on set, including handling production equipment;

  • Reviewing narrative submissions and writing script analysis; and

  • Occasional administrative support and runs for supplies and equipment.

THE DETAILS

Prerequisites: None. A major related to film, production, and/or entertainment and an interest in documentary content are preferred.


Location: Delirio typically requires interns to work out of our office in Westwood, in Los Angeles. We are currently working with a hybrid remote/in-person schedule. We plan to return to the office in the winter, pending Covid-19 health guidelines.


Schedule:2 to 4 days per week, typically 9:30am to 6pm; starting in Early September and ending in late December - these dates are negotiable.


Car: Preferred but not necessary; mileage will be reimbursed.
