The Team
The Summer 2022 Product Design Intern for CNN Politics will be a member of the CNN Politics Digital Design team. This person will work on the designs and testing of the 2022 Midterm Election Coverage on CNN.com, The CNN Voter Guide, and more. This position is for a usability focused individual that cares about making interactive, helpful tools that will be used by millions of people.

The Daily:
• Utilize design tools and research platforms
• Analyze and present findings to the design team and cross-functional teams
• Participate in design reviews and critiques
• Participate in and facilitate design workshops
• Incorporate research findings in the form of iterative design recommendations
• The role is 80% usability testing, 10% quantitative analysis, 10% design insight dissemination

• A skillset that includes curiosity, honesty, and open-mindedness
• Bonus: Familiarity with industry-leading usability research platforms

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th-August 12th; (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system) must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
