Create is the branded content studio for CNN International. We tell authentic stories that inspire and engage our audience. Through a data-informed process we deliver award-winning, relevant content to our audience of influential decision makers.

As part of the production team, the Production Coordinator Intern will support the delivery of award-winning film and digital branded content for clients of CNN International globally, on budget and on time.

The production coordinator internship will be a 3-6 month assignment, with the opportunity to extend.

The Production Coordinator Intern's primary responsibility is assisting the Production Managers whilst supplying further logistical and administrative support to the Creative Production Lead and department as a whole.

The Production Coordinator Intern is required to support the department in all areas of logistics and administration, from the initial project briefing through to delivery.

What will you be doing?

Production management support
• Support the Production Managers with the fulfilment of the CREATE production workload of film and digital video content projects from initiation to completion to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budgets.
• Manage the production workload of appropriately sized film and digital video content projects, as assigned by the Creative Production Lead, from initiation to completion independently, ensuring delivery of projects on time and within budgets.
• Support the production managers in fulfilling the creation, development and administration of the following documentation (including but not limited to) to the requirements of the Creative Production Lead:
• call sheets
• risk assessments
• national and international travel logistics
• visas and carnets
• child licensing agreements
• per diems/float/expense reconciliation
• talent contracts
• Release/Legal Forms
• All other production documentation and requirements
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, logistical aspects of shoots as assigned
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil crew and talent bookings.

Department support
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, internal/freelance resource bookings and the booking of external suppliers globally.
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, working with internal HR, procurement and Accounts Payable departments, new supplier setup and supplier payments.
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, Purchase Order creation.
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, all departmental production related administrative needs.
• Support the production managers in the fulfilment of, and independently fulfil, the monitoring and updating of costs and information within Create's project management tools on a daily basis.
• Supporting the production management output of up to 10 freelance/internal staff
• Supporting the efficient fulfilment of film shoot logistics, budgets and schedules including booking and organising invoices of freelance staff and third-party suppliers, licensing agreements and all related expenses

What is the requirement?
• Experience working at Production Coordinator level or higher, within a creative environment
• Experience of managing complex location production shoots
• A firm grasp of production processes from inception to delivery, film production best practices, broadcast camera and editing equipment
• A strong interest in content production, specifically filmed content.

• Ability to work with confidential information with complete discretion
• Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player in a small team environment when required
• Strong ability to learn new internal software systems

Must be currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation;

Must be eligible to work in HK without sponsorship. All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to starting the internship;
