Engineering Intern, CBS Boston (Summer 2025)

CBS Boston is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program!

Responsibilities:
• Our interns will be exposed to the engineering design and process and attend briefing meetings.
• Learn how engineering support is performed and why it is vital to the television station.
• Observe Electronic Newsgathering in real time, as it is the first step in news production.
• Observe the daily technical preparation for a TV news show and learn behind the scenes efforts that contributes to a successful newscast.

Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a face-paced team environment.
• This is an in-person internship, must be within a commutable distance of Boston, MA.
• IT, Electronic, or Mathematics knowledge, a plus.

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors, or Master's students in the fall of 2024. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Internship format will be 100% in person, this may include some weekends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
