Bally Sports South has an opening for a Summer 2022 Marketing & Communications Intern!

Bally Sports is the nation's leading provider of local sports and owns & operates 21 regional networks including Bally Sports South. We serve as the TV home to more than half of all MLB, NHL and NBA teams based in the United States. Bally Sports South is proud to produce live local professional telecasts for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Nashville Predators, Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta United FC and more. The selected intern will have the opportunity to gain sports marketing and communications experience and learn through observational learning and hands-on training. This internship is perfect for a student who has a passion for the world of sports and is preparing for an exciting career in sports marketing or communications. This paid internship opportunity is located at our Bally Sports South office in Atlanta, GA.

What to Expect
• Support network PR efforts, including press releases and booking talent for interview requests
• Support network marketing plans, including scheduling off-channel promotions
• Participate in marketing and communications planning sessions with team partners
• Support on-air promotions by assisting with commissioning and scheduling duties
• Introduction to other network departments such as production and social media, programming, ad sales and distribution

Internship Requirements
• The intern will work up to 30 hours maximum a week, for a total of 8 weeks
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Coursework/major must be in a field of study directly related to television or media production, journalism and/or sports management.
• The intern, through the enrolled college or university, must receive college credits that will satisfy any graduation requirements at the school.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work from our midtown Atlanta office
