Summer Intern, Premium Business–Crypto.com Arena

For a quarter of a century, Crypto.com Arena has been marked with performances and special events that brought international stature to the downtown Los Angeles venue including concerts headlined by Taylor Swift, Drake, Beyoncé, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Usher, Jay-Z, Keith Urban, Roger Waters, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Michael Bublé, Carrie Underwood and Justin Timberlake, as well as world championship boxing, family shows and other live events.

Job Summary:
AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. This intern will have the opportunity to work with an energetic team of professionals that focuses on premium sales, services, and operations at Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater. Through this internship, interns will get to see the full scope of what the premium department oversees and the skills necessary to succeed within each vertical. Below are some examples of the responsibilities and experience you would gain.
Responsibilities:
• Sales:
• Learn about the Premium Sales team and what goes into closing a sale.
• Occasionally shadow the sales team on appointments.
• Service:
• Learn about the Premium Service team and what a premium services role looks like.
• Shadow service team on event nights to learn game day duties.
• Hospitality & Events:
• Learn about our H&E team and the goals.
• Assist with planning and executing member/prospect events.
• Coordinate & assist with gifting efforts.
• Business Operations, Strategy & Analytics:
• Learn what the BOSA group does and how it adds value to the premium department.
• Execute on member/prospect research, reporting and other technology efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
• Interest in sports and live entertainment
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Forms)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong multi-tasker
