Theatrical Distribution Accounting (Remote)

A24 is looking for a part-time intern to support the Theatrical Distribution Accounting team for the Summer 2023 semester -- must be available up to 30 hours per week. June 5th, 2023 start date.

The A24 Theatrical Distribution Accounting Intern will learn first-hand about the process of releasing a film into theaters. They will be expected to assist at all stages of the release, but their main tasks will bewithin, but not limited to, the following four areas:

Initial Responsibilities
• Basic Accounting: Assist in the accounts receivable process and help to apply payments.
• Invoicing: Process and send statements while developing effective client relationships.
• Box Office Tracking: Collect theatrical grosses from theaters and compile reports.
• Research: Monitor trends and document weekly updates within the theatrical landscape.

Qualifications
• A finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving entertainment industry, and an interest in learning more about theatrical operations.
• A passion for numbers and film
• Attentive to detail and strong Excel skills.
• Adaptable, quick to grasp new software and systems.
• A familiarity with the A24 brand, and knowledge of upcoming Summer releases.
• A background in accounting is preferred but not required.
Our internships are part-time roles with an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual pay will depend on various considerations, including: education, experience, skills, specializations, training, and business needs.
