Job Description
Documentaries, Development & Production (Remote)
A24 is looking for a part-time intern to support the Documentaries team for the Summer 2023 semester -- must be available up to 30 hours per week with a June 5th, 2023 start date.
Initial Responsibilities
• Provide coverage on incoming submissions and potential acquisitions
• Support team with miscellaneous project-specific or developmental research projects
• Scout for potential stories and participate in brainstorming sessions
• Maintain department databases, production calendars and project lists
• Assist in written treatments
• Research local resources (ex: vendors, crew, locations, etc.) for various productions
• Research and check crew availabilities
• General administrative support
Qualifications
• Interest in non-fiction film, television, current events and/or pop culture
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to think outside the box and anticipate needs
• Extreme attention to detail
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Driven, efficient, curious, and resourceful
Our internships are part-time roles with an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual pay will depend on various considerations, including: education, experience, skills, specializations, training, and business needs.
